1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: Your name and email address when you register for an account.
  • Payment information: When you purchase access, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a record of the transaction (amount, date, last 4 digits of card) but do not store your full payment card details.
  • Usage data: Information about how you use the Platform, including pages visited, features used, quiz scores, flashcard progress, and session duration.
  • Device and technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referral URLs, collected automatically when you use the Platform.
  • Communications: If you contact us, we retain records of that correspondence.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, purchase receipts)

Your data is stored on servers hosted on Railway (a cloud infrastructure provider). Data is transmitted over SSL/TLS encrypted connections. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

4. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged into the Platform. These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and are deleted when you close your browser or log out.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies for third-party marketing. You can control cookie behavior in your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may receive your data:

  • AI providers (OpenAI / Anthropic): Our AI Study Companion feature sends your queries to AI providers to generate responses. Please do not include personal sensitive information in your AI tutor queries.
  • Railway: Our cloud hosting provider. Data is stored in their infrastructure subject to their data processing terms.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and study progress data for as long as your account is active, plus an additional two (2) years after account closure or last activity, unless you request deletion sooner.

Payment records are retained as required by applicable accounting and tax laws.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances.
