Studydesk is an online educational platform designed to assist students in preparing for the JD-Next bar examination. The Platform provides study materials, practice questions, flashcards, AI-assisted tutoring, essay practice, and related educational content.

Important: All content on this Platform is for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. We are an educational technology company, not a law firm. Nothing on this Platform creates an attorney-client relationship or should be relied upon as legal counsel.

“JD-Next” and the JD-Next examination are trademarks of Aspen Publishing. Studydesk is an independent exam preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Aspen Publishing. The use of “JD-Next” on this platform refers to the examination that students are preparing for, and is used for descriptive purposes only.

The name “Studydesk,” the Studydesk platform, and all original content, software, and materials created by Studydesk are owned by [Your Name] and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. This license does not include:

• Reproducing, distributing, or publicly displaying any content from the Platform
• Creating derivative works based on Platform content
• Downloading or copying content for commercial purposes
• Using data mining, robots, or similar data gathering tools

Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of any Platform content is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action.

To access most features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

• Refund policy: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us at hello@jdnext.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
• Payment processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card information.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Cheat on any examination or engage in academic dishonesty
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract content or data from the Platform
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share Platform content with others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its servers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no guarantee that use of this Platform will result in passing the JD-Next examination or any other examination. Results depend on individual effort, preparation, and other factors beyond our control.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL [YOUR NAME], ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe: (a) violates these Terms; (b) is harmful to other users, us, or third parties; or (c) is fraudulent or illegal.

Upon termination for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund. Upon termination not for cause during the refund period, we will issue a full refund in accordance with our refund policy.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United States of America.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
